Carlton Theatre auditorium at Carlyle Square, Condon is at Carlyle Gardens Retirement Village, Townsville's premier lifestyle resort. The function space is available for selected business, educational and personal functions, such as weddings. The main room has space for 700 people indoors for meetings, or around 300 at tables for banquet or food functions. The purpose built function room was constructed around the year 2000 for use by residents at Carlyle Gardens Retirement Resort, but is now also available for selected events.

The stage can hold a 20 piece band, as demonstrated when the 1RAR band perform for residents. There is a dance floor directly below the stage. There is also a capable sound system to augment the video projector.

Seniors Information Expo, with over 30 organisations having tables and presenting details of what their organisations did for seniors. The restaurant made a buffet lunch available for residents and visitors.
